WHY IT MAKES A DIFFERENCE

Unfiltered tap water contains chlorine, heavy metals, and hard water minerals. Over time these compounds build up on the hair shaft — making hair feel rough and dry, stripping color faster than it should, and degrading extension bonds and wefts between appointments.

The Beauvoir Filtered Showerhead was built specifically for extension wearers and color-treated hair. Three filtration stages — including a third stage targeting calcium and mineral deposits that most shower filters don’t address — deliver cleaner water that protects your hair instead of working against it.

THREE FILTRATION STAGES

Stage 1 — Chlorine and chemical removal Removes free chlorine and chloramines that dry out the hair shaft and cause color to oxidize and fade faster than it should.
Stage 2 — Heavy metal filtration Targets iron, lead, mercury, and heavy metals that accumulate on hair over repeated washes, contributing to dullness, roughness, and buildup.
Stage 3 — Calcium and mineral defense This is what sets the Beauvoir filter apart. Calcium and magnesium deposits are the primary reason extensions feel dry and tangled after washing, why color loses vibrancy faster than expected, and why bonds and wefts degrade before their time. Most shower filters stop at two stages. Ours doesn’t.

FOR EXTENSION WEARERS

Extensions are an investment. A full install can run $1,500 to $3,000 — and unfiltered water is one of the most common reasons they don’t last as long as they should.
Hard water minerals attach to the weft, roughen the cuticle, and accelerate tangling and dryness between appointments. The calcium buildup from repeated unfiltered washes is something no shampoo or treatment can fully reverse once it accumulates.
Filtering the water before it touches your extensions is step zero of extension aftercare. Most people skip it because nobody told them it mattered. It does.

FOR COLOR-TREATED HAIR

Chlorine oxidizes hair color. Hard water minerals coat the hair shaft and make color look flat and dull faster than your stylist intended.
The gap between a fresh color appointment and when it starts looking tired is often not the product — it is the water. Filtering your shower closes that gap.

EASY INSTALLATION — NO TOOLS REQUIRED

Setup takes under five minutes.
What you need: - Your Beauvoir Filtered Showerhead (filter pre-installed) - Thread seal tape (PTFE / plumber’s tape)
Steps: 1. Unscrew your existing showerhead counterclockwise. 2. Clean the threads on the shower arm. 3. Wrap thread seal tape clockwise around the threads, 2–3 times. 4. Screw the Beauvoir Filtered Showerhead on clockwise. Hand-tighten firmly. 5. Turn on the water and check for leaks. Tighten slightly if needed. 6. Done. Your filter is active immediately.
