WHY IT MAKES A DIFFERENCE

Unfiltered tap water contains chlorine, heavy metals, and hard water minerals. Over time these compounds build up on the hair shaft — making hair feel rough and dry, stripping color faster than it should, and degrading extension bonds and wefts between appointments.

The Beauvoir Filtered Showerhead replacement filter was built specifically for extension wearers and color-treated hair. Three filtration stages — including a third stage targeting calcium and mineral deposits that most shower filters don’t address — deliver cleaner water that protects your hair instead of working against it.

THREE FILTRATION STAGES

Stage 1 — Chlorine and chemical removal Removes free chlorine and chloramines that dry out the hair shaft and cause color to oxidize and fade faster than it should.
Stage 2 — Heavy metal filtration Targets iron, lead, mercury, and heavy metals that accumulate on hair over repeated washes, contributing to dullness, roughness, and buildup.
Stage 3 — Calcium and mineral defense This is what sets the Beauvoir filter apart. Calcium and magnesium deposits are the primary reason extensions feel dry and tangled after washing, why color loses vibrancy faster than expected, and why bonds and wefts degrade before their time. Most shower filters stop at two stages. Ours doesn’t.
